Martin Schuchert holds a Diploma Ingenieur
degree in architecture from the Kunsthochschule
in Hamburg, Germany. He began his zoo design
career in Germany working with an architect and
zoo designer. In 1998 he moved to the U.S. and
worked as an exhibit designer with a rockwork
design and fabrication company, and then for a
nationally known zoo design firm. He started
wild-design in 2001 and continues to work in both
Europe and the United States.
Laura Hamilton has degrees in architecture
(BArch 1991; University of Kansas) and
landscape architecture (MLA 2004; Penn State
University), and studied illustration (1994-6;
Fachhochschule für Gestaltung, Hamburg). She
has worked with zoo designers in the U.S. and
Germany. She joined wild-design in 2004. |
